Welcome! By using tradeOver services ("Services"), you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the "TOS"). So read them, at least once in your lifetime.

Description of the Services

tradeOver is a stock trading simulation: that is, when you register for the game you get a FAKE amount of money to "invest" in the various "markets" offered by the game: you therefore create a portolio that competes againt the other players'.

Modification of the Services

tradeOver reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Services (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that tradeOver shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Services.

External Links

tradeOver may provide, or third parties may provide, links to other World Wide Websites or resources. Because tradeOver has no control over such sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that tradeOver is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any content, accuracy, quality, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources.

Fair Use

You may not use tradeOver or its content for any illegal purpose or in any manner inconsistent with these TOS. You agree to use tradeOver solely for your own noncommercial use and benefit and not for resale or other transfer or disposition to any other person or entity.

Privacy
We do not tolerate spam and will never sell, rent, lease or give away your information (name, address, email, etc.) to any third party. Nor will we send you unsolicited email.

tradeOver respects and protects the privacy of the individuals that use tradeOver's services ("tradeOver Services"). Individually identifiable information about you is not willfully disclosed to any third party without first receiving your permission, as explained in this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy").

tradeOver and Cookies

In order to use some of tradeOver's services (mainly the trading, portfolio and chart section), tradeOver uses cookies. tradeOver will not disclose its cookies to third parties except as required by a valid legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order.

Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. Be aware, however, that some parts of the tradeOver Service may not function properly if you refuse cookies.

What Information Do We Collect?

tradeOver does not collect any unique information about you (such as your name, email address, etc.) except when you specifically and knowingly provide such information. In any case, the only Personal Information required to use tradeOver's Services is a valid email address. tradeOver notes and saves information such as time of day, browser type, browser language, and IP address with each request. That information is used to verify our records and to provide more relevant services to users. For example, tradeOver may use your IP address or browser language to determine which language to use when showing pages or advertisements.

With Whom Does tradeOver Share Information?

tradeOver may share information about you with advertisers, business partners, sponsors, and other third parties. However, we only divulge aggregate information about our users and will not share personally identifiable information with any third party without your express consent. For example, we may disclose how frequently the average tradeOver user visits tradeOver, or which stocks are more boughts. Please be aware, however, that we will release specific personal information about you if required to do so in order to comply with any valid legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order.

By using the tradeOver Search Services and our web site, you consent to the collection and use of your information as we have outlined in this policy and to our Terms of Service Policy. tradeOver may decide to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of the information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.

Stock prices (corporations', world indexes', etc. etc.) used in tradeOver are gathered using SOAP from free sources from the Internet. Therefore, they have no accuracy whatsoever, and any resemblance with the real prices of the stock is Purely Coincidental. So, don't come telling us that we didn't warn you...
